MEMORIAL TOWER

-Inscription-

Untold billions of test specimens have been manufactured and destroyed for the examination of Japanese industry since the Meiji era (1866-1912).
No matter how imposing and full of vitality they were made to be, their ephemeral life was to be discarded as scrap metal after the test was completed.
In memory of their sacrifice and to express my appreciation and gratitude for their service, I offer my eternal prayers. Therefore, we have erected this monument to test specimens on this land so that people can come and offer prayers for everyone’s happiness.

October 1985
Tatsuo Tsurui, Founder
